Terrance and Terri Jo Zink own A Touch of Class
Painting and Decorating and have worked as a team running their business
for nearly 20 years. They have worked diligently building a
reputation of quality workmanship, integrity, and dependability. As the
business has grown Terrance has expanded into the Specialty Finishing
aspect of the painting and decorating business. This has been
particularly enjoyable to do because of the creative freedom Specialty
Finishes provide. The mix of color and texture is endless and sparks
his creative instincts. Terrance, a certified faux finishing
specialist, has done his training with the Masters of the Trade.
Terrance received expert instruction through the Jennifer Rebecca Design
Studio in St. Paul, Minnesota. where he sat under Pierre Ricard,
receiving hands-on cutting edge training while working with the finest
in special finish products. Further training
through the Chicago Institute of Fine Finishes under the expert tutelage
of Designer Kathy Carroll rounded out his portfolio of finishes with a
full spectrum of finishing choices, from the subtle to the dramatic.
Terri Jo works along side Terrance behind the
scenes, fielding calls, contacting Clients, and handling the day to day
responsibilities of running the office. She has also attended with
Terrance the Foundations Course through the Institute of Fine Finishes
in Chicago, also receiving certification under Designer Kathy Carroll.
Terrance and Terri Jo have two teenage sons that
keep them hopping with their school, sports, and musical activities.
